Audit Application
The CBDMA™ Standards are designed to:
- Establish a minimum acceptable benchmark for disability management programs
- Identify opportunities for disability management program improvement
- Encourage the adoption of best practices in disability management
The CBDMA™ is comprised of 180 questions grouped into three main categories:
- Disability Management Policy and Workplace Resources
- Disability Prevention
- Early Intervention and Timely Return to Work Process
There are four main phases involved in the Audit process:
- Contracting a licensed auditing firm to perform the CBDMA™ at the workplace
- Interviews with workers and management to verify disability management practices used at the workplace
- Verification of documentation to confirm disability management processes and systems comply with audit standards
- Standardized audit scoring and written report disseminating audit results
