PCU-WHS Welcomes First Students

Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences welcomes its first students as it offers the world's only Bachelor of Disability Management program, as well as continuing education programs and advanced level training courses.

The Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences (PCU-WHS) will host the International Forum on Disability Management (IFDM) during Fall 2018 in Vancouver, Canada. IFDM 2014 Pushes beyond the boundaries

IFDM 2014 took place in Melbourne, Australia in November 2014 with the theme, "Disability management: Pushing beyond the boundaries". With an attendance of over 460 participants from 19 countries, IFDM 2014 covered a great many topic areas related to the field of disability management and return to work. The hand-over from Australia to Malaysia took place as the social security organization, PERKESO of Malaysia, will host IFDM 2016 in Kuala Lumpur.

Belgium adopts IDMSC professional standards

Belgium's Health Insurance Agency (RIZIV-INAMI), which manages supplemental security income benefits for non-occupational injuries and illnesses recently signed an agreement with NIDMAR, which allows the agency to begin training individuals under its own "Back to Work" program using the IDMSC curriculum and professional designations.
